Undergraduate University Program in Marine Science

The shortage of specialists in the field of sustainable, interdisciplinary management of the marine environment is today one of the key challenges in the protection of complex marine ecosystems. Therefore, in cooperation with the Ruđer Bošković Institute’s Center for Marine Research in Rovinj — one of the leading Croatian scientific institutions in research and protection of the Adriatic — we launched the undergraduate university study Marine Science in 2008, which today we deliver in a new and improved form.

Our interdisciplinary Marine Science program is unique in the broader university environment, and is aimed at students with interests in marine biology, oceanography, as well as sustainable management and protection of marine ecosystems.
