EURAXESS is a European Commission programme designed to increase and facilitate the mobility of researchers. The network includes over 1,100 officers in more than 600 service centers across 43 European countries, and 9 EURAXESS Hubs - Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Latin America and the Caribbean, China, India, Japan, Korea and North America.

The main task of this program is to assist foreign researchers and scientists when they come to Croatia to work on scientific projects.

In addition to foreign researchers, this program also helps Croatian researchers to get more information regarding the realization of research work abroad, international cooperation and financial assistance/scholarships. In addition, EURAXESS also provides assistance to Croatian scientific institutions, ready to attract top scientific staff, in employing and hosting foreign researchers.
