The two-day "Train the Trainer" event was organized by the University of Juraj Dobrila in Pula as part of the DYNAMIC project on the 10th and 11th of December 2020. The event brought together eminent experts from the fields of science and higher education, the private sector, development agencies, business incubators, chambers of industry and commerce and other interested stakeholders. More than 30 participants discussed the experiences and possibilities of dual education in Croatia.

We invite large and small enterprises to learn about dual education at the university level and the role and skills enterprise staff need to have when training students. We will present the results of an EU project that has introduced a pilot dual undergraduate engineering programme in Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania and teach industrial mentors what they need to know to successfully train and supervise students during placements in their enterprise.

As part of the "Dynamic" project, a meeting was held at the Juraj Dobrila University in Pula. Assoc. Prof.  Sven Maričić and Head of the Office for partnership and projects Ivona Peternel, PhD met with Tamara Kiršić from the Istrian Development Agency d.o.o.

Erasmus + DYNAMIC  partners meeting was held at the end of September in Pula, hosted by Juraj Dobrila University in Pula. Partners from RED FORK company visited University.

In September 2020 Ivona Peterbek, PhD visited RED FORK in Zagreb with aim of monitoring of the implemenattion of students placements, documentation and work with students. Student Ante Bačić participates in the placement involving modeling of devices for  receiving, mixing and dosing food supplements, while student Juraj Vivoda is involved in project regarding tank foir organic matter. Future relevant activities foreseen until the end of project were planned, in particular in the context of virtual collaboration, aiming at fulfilling the project goals. The students responded well to the project and showed active participation in the combined model of learning and acquiring practical skills.

International scientific conference within Erasmus + programme “Dynamic” was held online from 3rd to 4th September. The honour of giving the introductory speech and lecture went to Maria Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture and Youth. Sven Maričić, Ivan Veljović and student Deni Makovec participated in the Dynamic conference. Assoc. Prof. Sven Maričić held an invited lecture on the topic "The importance of 3D and VR technologies in vocational education." Deni Makovec and Ivan Veljović presented the results in an article entitled “CAD / CAM technologies in vocational studies” based on the thesis of a colleague from Makovec.

At the end of May 2020 Juraj Dobrila University of Pula organized online education „Train the trainer. Opening and introduction to the education was held by Assoc. Prof. Valter Boljunčić, Vice – Rector for Cooperation, Innovation and Technology Transfer and Assoc. Prof. Sven Maričić.

Within Erasmus+ project DYNAMIC, Mechanical Engineering students from Department for technical studies, mentored by izv. prof. dr. sc. Svena Maričića and Ivana Veljovića , mag. ing. mech. have visited Holcim Croatia.  

Project meeting within Erasmus+ programme was held from 2nd to 4th September 2019 in Varna (Bulgaria). Meeting was held at Technical University of Varna and Juraj Dobrila University of Pula participated as project partner. 

Project consortium meeting was held on the 17th of Septemebr at German-Croatian industrial and commerce chamber. Izv.prof.dr.sc. Sven Maričić and dr.sc. Ivona Peternel, Head of the Office for Partnership and Projects were representatives of Juraj Dobrila University of Pula.      ×      

Within Erasmus + Dynamic project, representatives of Juraj Dobrila University of Pula have visited project partner Holcim Ltd. in Koromačno. The aim of working visit was the presentation of concept idea within Dynamic Erasmus + project, created by students from Production Engineering, Department for Technical Studies, mentored by associate professor Sven Maričić and assistant Ivan Veljović, mag.ing.mech. Head of Office for Partnership and projects Ivona Peternel, PhD presented implemented activities within project so far.
