ACTIVE AND INCLUSIVE TEACHING OF LITERACY AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR ENHANCED EMPLOYMENT AND SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH
The Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula has been participating in the Erasmus + project Active and Inclusive Teaching of Literacy and Communication Skills for Enhanced Employment and Sustainable Economic Growth.
The project leader is the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Maribor, while the partner institutions are the West Saxon University of Zwickau, University of Udine and the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. The end objective of the project is the creation of a curriculum which would enhance communication skills by the use of sign language, travel writing and movement. The key domains included in its creation are inclusion, innovation, sustainability and healthy life.

Expected project results
Designing and creating curricula for developing communication skills by employing sign language, travel writing and movement (also for online teaching); developing literacy and communication skills through an innovative method of travel writing and through movement; to develop communication skills curricula by employing sign language for online/classroom communication skills courses at European universities; to enhance writing skills as writing skills are the core of successful education and business.
