Nomination procedure for International exchange students

Nominations from the home university must be submitted by the following deadlines:

Autumn semester/Whole year: 15th April to 15th May
Spring semester: 1st October to 31st October

Prospective International exchange students should initially reach out to their home university exchange coordinator to verify whether there is a bilateral agreement in place with Juraj Dobrila University of Pula (UNIPU) and to confirm the approval of the proposed study program.

The student's home university is required to submit an official nomination to ECTS coordinator by completing the Nomination Form (PDF Document).

The ECTS coordinators will provide a decision regarding the acceptance of the nominated student no later than 4 weeks after the nomination deadline. 

Application procedure for International exchange students

After the nomination deadline, students will receive information about the application procedure via e-mail listed in the nomination sheet.

After the acceptance confirmation the international exchange students need to fill out and prepare the following documents:

  1. Student Application form 
  2. Learning Agreement
  3. Transcript of Records issued by their home institution (translated into English)
  4. Copy of valid ID card / Passport
  5. Private health insurance policy (translated to English and valid for the whole mobility period that the student is applying for)
  6. Temporary residence permit / Visa  - if required (for non-EU citizens with regulated temporary residence in an EU country)
  7. Medical certificate -only necessary if the student resides in the dormitory, translated into English (to prove if the student has any health difficulties which may affect mobility stay at UNIPU)
  8. Photo of your face 300x300 pixels - jpg format
  9. Photo of your signature 400x70 pixels -   jpg format

 

The learning agreement must be signed by all three sides:

  1. student,
  2. coordinator(s) at home university and
  3. coordinator(s) at receiving university – UNIPU.

Unipu recommends students first send the list of courses planned to attend at UNIPU and upon confirmation from the faculty coordinator side, fill out the Learning Agreement, to avoid multiple changes.
Students are mandatory to contact the faculty coordinator directly to collect all signatures on the Learning Agreement.

The course for the new academic year is usually published at the end of May/beginning of June.

UNIPU requires that the student have sufficient language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) equivalent to level B2 on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) scale.
