Within the work-package two "WP2: Guidelines and Protocols for incoming students, safety and security", Juraj Dobrila University of  Pula reviewed two Israeli universities: the College of Management Academic Studies (COLMAN) and Kinneret Academic College. Head of the Office for Partnerships and Projects Ivona Peternel, PhD, led the peer-review process, which consisted of a process for evaluating guidelines and protocols for incoming students. The whole process consisted of a self-assessment of the process of Israeli higher education institutions (with a checklist and self-reflection of the process); expert assessments of the EU partner institutions and a summary report of the quality management team.

"Security and Safety of...
As part of the William project, the "Security and Safety of International Students Zoominar" was held on 3rd of, organized by project partners. The goal of this online event was to create a support system for international students as their security is an essential foundation of internationalization. The past year in pandemic conditions has further highlighted the importance of these topics.

Online consortium meeting  held...
As part of the Erasmus + project William, an online virtual partnership meeting was held. The first topic of the meeting were the activities within the project management as well as the necessary activities in the field of social integration. Updates on the project website were also presented, as well as available tools developed within the project. Necessary budget changes and reallocations due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the dynamics and implementation of project activities were also presented.

On the 23rd September William partners consortium held monitoring and consortium meeting. This was an opportunity to discuss state of the art of the work packages and future planned activities, specially in the context of the current epidemiological situation with coronavirus.

Within project William three-days online workshops were held via Zoom and Adobe Connect, due to COVID-19 crisis. First workshop „Intercultural dimension of internationalization at home was held by Ivona Peternel, PhD, Head of the Office for partnership and projects.

Project WILLIAM continues with planned activities. Ivona Peternel, PhD has participated in virtual meeting with representatives of Tel Hai College from Israel and Management Center Innsbruck from Austria. Meeting was held with the goal of organizing virtual workshops for Israeli partners with duration of 30-60 minutes which will present starting point for implementation of physical workshops in the future. Focus of the workshops is intercultural aspect of internationalization of the universities including procedures and protocols of acceptance of the foreign students.

Within Erasmus+ project WILLIAM International virtual meeting was held on the 4th May. Head of the Office for partnership and projects Ivona Peternel , PhD and Kristina Hlavati Bertoncelj participarted on behalf of Juraj Dobrila University of Pula.

In December 2019 Masaryk University Site Visit and „William“ Consortium Meeting was held. This was an opportunity to present recent activities conducted within project, along with University Board warm welcome. External evaluator for William, Elizabeth Colucci presented key figures within her report.

Kick.off meeting of project William...
Kick-off meeting of the project WILLIAM, Erasmus+ KA2, Capacity Building was held in the period from 26-28th February 2019. in Israel. The host was the College of Management Academic Studies in Rishon LeZion. Juraj Dobrila University of Pula representatives were doc.dr.sc. Dean Sinković, Vice Dean for international cooperation and business and dr.sc. Ivona Peternel, Head of the Office for partnership and projects. Numerous workshops and meetings were held at COLLMAN in order for partners to meet each other and arrange the collaboration details.
