Nomination period:
Autumn semester/Whole year: 15th April to 15th May
Spring semester: 1st October to 31st October
Prospective Erasmus+ exchange students should initially reach out to their home university exchange coordinator to verify whether there is a bilateral agreement in place with Juraj Dobrila University of Pula (UNIPU) and to confirm the approval of the proposed study program.
The student's home university is required to submit an official nomination to UNIPU by completing the Nomination Sheet (Google form). Nominations sent by email will not be accepted.
The Office for Partnership and Projects will provide a decision regarding the acceptance of the nominated student no later than 4 weeks after the nomination deadline.
Application procedure for Erasmus+ incoming students
Application period:
Autumn semester/Whole year: May 15th to June 15th
Spring semester: November 1st to November 30th
After the nomination deadline, students will receive information about the application procedure via e-mail listed in the nomination sheet.
Erasmus students selected by their home universities to spend their Erasmus study period at the UNIPU need to fill out and prepare the following documents:
- Erasmus Student Application form (by filling out Google Form) and uploading documents below within Google Form
- Online Learning Agreement
- Transcript of Records issued by their home institution (translated into English)
- Copy of valid ID card / Passport
- Copy of valid EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) / Health insurance policy for Non-EU citizens (translated to English and valid for the whole mobility period that the student is applying for)
- Temporary residence permit/ Visa – if required (for non-EU citizens with regulated temporary residence in an EU country)
- Medical certificate - only necessary if the student resides in the dormitory, translated into English (to prove if the student has any health difficulties which may affect mobility stay at UNIPU)
- Photo of your face 300x300 pixels - jpg format
- Photo of your signature 400x70 pixels - jpg format
Students are requested to present the original documents upon arrival at the UNIPU.
Online Learning Agreement (OLA)
UNIPU recommends students first send the list of courses plan to attend at UNIPU and upon confirmation from the faculty coordinator side, fill out the Learning Agreement, to avoid multiple changes.
Students are mandatory to contact the faculty coordinator directly to collect all signatures on the Learning Agreement.
The student can check Unipu’s coordinators.
The OLA must be signed by all three sides:
- student,
- coordinator(s) at home university and
- coordinator(s) at receiving university – UNIPU.

The course list for the new academic year is usually published at the end of May/beginning of June.
UNIPU requires the student to have sufficient language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) equivalent to level B2 on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) scale.
Before starting to fill out an application form, please, make sure that you have all the required documents.
Admission procedure
UPP forwards the nomination sheet to ects koordinators and in case the students are accepted the UPP will send directly to the students the acceptance letter and all the instructions for further application to Unipu.
