The Human Resource Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) is designed to support research institutions in implementing the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct on the Recruitment of Researchers into their policies and practices.
Juraj Dobrila University of Pula has successfully fulfilled all the conditions for obtaining the prestigious HRS4R logo. As part of this process, the University signed the "Declaration of Accession to the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct on the Employment of Researchers". Since September 2022, Juraj Dobrila University has been a proud holder of the "HR Excellence in Research" award.
This award is a public recognition of research institutions that have successfully aligned their human resources policies with the principles set out in the Charter and the Code. Institutions that have received the right to use this prestigious label can highlight it as a symbol of their commitment to conducting fair and transparent procedures for the recruitment and evaluation of researchers, thus further confirming their excellence and integrity in research work.
Commitment to Excellence: Implementation of the European Charter and Code for Researchers at the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula
Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, under the leadership of the Rector prof. dr. sc. Marinko Škare, warmly welcomes and fully accepts the initiative of the European Commission and the recommendations and principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Employment of Researchers.
The University is firmly committed to the implementation of all 40 principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, as well as to the adoption of all phases of the implementation of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers.
The European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Employment of Researchers are documents of utmost importance, which will significantly contribute to the employment of highly qualified researchers and the establishment of a motivating working environment.
Juraj Dobrila University of Pula will actively exchange experiences of good practice with other members of this initiative, especially with those directly involved in the process of recruiting researchers, in order to jointly improve processes and standards in the research sector.
